Jamie Jacob

Jamie Jacob is a Copenhagen-based artist working across painting, sculpture and installation. His work explores symbolic landscapes, charged figures, strange plants and impossible colour, creating worlds that sit somewhere between memory, dream and psychological terrain. Drawing on naïve visual language, mythic imagery and emotional intuition, Jacob creates works that search for hidden vitality in everyday life. Through heightened colour and symbolic forms, his paintings function as emotional batteries — objects intended to activate a space, provoke curiosity and reward sustained looking. He studied Foundation at Camberwell College of Arts and holds a BA in Furniture Design from Kingston University (2015). Alongside his artistic practice, he has initiated independent projects in art, design and hospitality in Copenhagen.
